UKEL and OnePlan announce partnership to drive forward innovation and event planning.

UKEL, a not-for-profit company established to help secure, structure and deliver global sporting events across the UK, has today announced a partnership with OnePlan, a cloud-based event site planning software. The partnership will see UKEL use the OnePlan platform across its major events and event services projects as part of a three-year agreement.
The first event UKEL will use the platform to support its event planning will be next year's Inclusive Sport and Culture Festival taking place in Liverpool across multiple venues and city centre environments, showcasing both elite Paralympic sport and an international disability arts programme, providing a perfect opportunity to showcase the capabilities of OnePlan where enhanced accessibility and inclusion are at the heart of the event’s ambitions.
The partnership will also see the two organisations collaborate on a number of industry showcase projects, designed to support and enhance the UK’s event industry knowledge across key event delivery areas such as logistics, access planning and accessibility.
UKEL CEO Bev Ward said: “UKEL works with national governing bodies and local authorities to design and deliver international sporting events. Working with OnePlan will better enable us to offer a world-class event management service from the outset from feasibility right through to delivery”
OnePlan CEO and Founder Paul Foster said: “UKEL is exactly the kind of partner we built OnePlan for, and we share their commitment to raising standards across event delivery. We’re proud to support the Inclusive Sport and Culture Festival as the first project under this partnership, and excited to help UKEL’s team and partners to deliver world-class events.”
