UKEL is seeking an exceptional, innovative and collaborative Social Impact and Sustainability Lead to work across its portfolio of international sports events and UK clients. You’ll work with a range of clients, investors and stakeholders to advise on, develop and deliver strategic impact and sustainability plans.
UKEL is a newly established, trusted partner for hosting global sporting events in the UK, providing an agile, flexible solution where NGBs or local authorities cannot host themselves. Established to serve a core need for the industry, our vision is to be an integral part of the UK events ecosystem, renowned for gold standard delivery and impact.
We offer world-leading knowledge and expertise to all levels of events, not just those with the biggest budgets, supporting the sector with a talented, agile and experienced LOC. We will also deliver best-in-class shared event services to major sports events at all levels, leveraging economies of scale for our partners.
UKEL has a portfolio of events, either delivered in-house (such as the Inclusive Sport and Culture Festival, Liverpool 2027) or through a separate company in the UKEL group - i.e. the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes Grand Depart in 2027. Further events are due to be announced this summer and we anticipate hosting three events per year.
